Our Ministry

  Jericho Ministries, a nondenominational, gender-specific ministry, was founded in 2000 by Basil and Sue Marotta. The mission of Jericho Ministries is to help men and women experience reconciliation with God, to help them understand the unique differences and distinctions of men and women as created by God, and to empower them to reach others for Christ. The ministry is committed to advancing God's plan by partnering with other ministries.

Basil and Sue Marotta became believers in Christ in 1984 and shortly thereafter became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ's Executive Ministries. Together, they have been actively involved in every aspect of church ministry, including teaching New Christian's classes and serving on various committees.

In 1994, Basil left his job as an Executive Vice President in the manufacturing industry to join Executive Ministries, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, on a full-time basis. Sensing a call to minister specifically to men, Basil joined the staff of M.A.N. Ministries, the men's ministry of Campus Crusade in 1985, as the South Florida Director. Basil also served with Promise Keepers as the co-chair of the South Florida Promise Keeper's Task Force and as the Key Man/Ambassador Trainer. He is currently a member of the National Coalition of Men's Ministries, is on the board of directors for the Florida Men of Integrity, Man Adventures, and is in lay leadership at his church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Sue was also called to specifically serve women in the kingdom of God. Her heart is for women to understand who God has designed them to be. She was instrumental in establishing her church's 24-hour Prayer Ministry, as well as being an integral part of the Women's Ministry in Florida. She has been the keynote speaker at several women's retreats and events, and has taught many Bible Studies for women. She is currently serving in Women's Ministry leadership at her church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
